Do you remember your first word ?
Reflecting on this question leads you down to the rabbit whole of your memories.

Our brains, remarkable in their capacity to store and retrieve, often bring forth forgotten moments with a sudden clarity. This is what my series of painting named "Echoes of memories" is about. Each painting is an emotional journey through these neural labyrinths, to forgotten moments of our life.

Though memories may fade, thoughts of the past have this magical ability to light up the deepest parts of us, revealing stories and feelings we thought were long lost.

Every time we summon a memory, we alter it, painting over the original.
What you remember today might not be what really happened
but
a memory of the last time you remembered it
making it a previous memory's echo

Memories are the echoes of our past, resonating in our present and influencing our future.

In our nostalgia, we find reflections not just of the past, but of our ever-changing selves.

"Echoes of memories" is a series of abstract paintings on eco-friendly plywood. Just like us, wood holds its own memories, showing its life story through every unique grain and mark.

One memory can elicit a spectrum of emotions depending on when and how we recall it. What made me tear up years ago might make me smile today.

What once hurt, now brings strength. Memories that were once a source of sadness became a testament to resilience and irony.

As you immerse yourself in each painting, may you find a reflection of your own memories, and may it inspire you to cherish every echo from the past.
